I have used this beef soup mix for 50 years, and it is great. 1 teaspoon in a cup of hot water, and you have a great broth that is low salt, better than the noodle mixes because it has less salt. Use a few Ramon noodles in the cup and have noodles, use left over veggies for veggie soup, use tomato sauce or Ketchup to add flavor. The soup costs about 7 cents a cup, and you can add whatever you want and you'll have a low salt well flavored soup. I add it to hamburger to make patties more flavorful instead of salt. I use it in my gravies, my family soup recipes, and as a tastes enhancer in beef dishes. Below is a recipe for Au Jus that tastes as good as the Au Jus that cooks for hours. Jus
Jus is French for “juice.” When roast beef is served with this flavorful dipping sauce on the side, it is called au jus, or “with juice.” Use it to dip slices of roast beef or roast beef sandwiches.

1-1/2 cups/375 mL water
1/2 cup/125 mL Watkins Meat Magic
2 tbsp/30 mL Watkins Beef Soup Base
2 tbsp/30 mL Watkins Onion Soup Base
1-1/2 tsp/7.5 mL Watkins Onion Powder
Combine all ingredients and simmer gently the last 30 minutes while roast is cooking. Beef Soup & Gravy
