Tutorial: WordPress Dashboard
In this tutorial we will talk about the basics of managing your new website, which means learning how to navigate your WordPress Dashboard.
The first thing you’ll want to do when you receive your website is log into WordPress, which is the blog program installed on your website. You received the WordPress URL of your website and your login details in the email announcing that your site was complete.
To log into your WordPress admin area, open up an Internet browser and in the address bar type in your domain name with "/wp-admin" at the end. For example, if your domain is www.mysite.com, you would get to your WordPress admin area by going to www.mysite.com/wp-admin.
Enter the username and password you were given and you will be directed to the WordPress Admin Panel of your website. This is where you can control every aspect of your website, from the content that you post to the way your site looks.
