How it all started I took a 3 month fishing tour aboard a Vessel known as the American Triumph. It was a trolling vessel and it was Pollock season in Alaska. After my small $6,000 check, I grabbed a seat on Southwest Airlines and flew to Phoenix, Arizona. I worked as a shut-in for an assisted living nursing home for 6 months. I then moved on to a magazine call center as a junior executive with an Italian Motley Crew. Guys like Jacque, Bobby and Mr. Morales would fly in from Denver, Colorado just to expense a fun trip to pick up on some of my female staff. I didn’t like that very much, and I began job hunting again. After a month had gone by, and my research had panned out. A guy who was some kind of late night infomercial Guru, was hiring some help so I applied. After 500 applicants were screened, 50 of us interviewed, and only 7 positions to fill, I got the 7th seat. In the spring of 1998 I moved to Washington State, and dad would have me crash into the federal protection industry. As a master in firearms now, a passion for local, federal, and personal security, I began testing with many law enforcement agencies. Little did I know that it would be the border patrol that would be picking me up. After extensive testing, screaming oral boards, and background checks, I would get a call to be one of their new cadets for their next academy. Everything was good to go except for one small detail, my credit background. With a few old bills that went to collections they asked for some documents, and for me to quickly get those paid. My checks at my current job were barely enough to sustain life, so I began the research of selling something in newspapers. I would use my investigative skills to research what I believed to be making people money. I would beg, borrow, and fight with my wife to take $7.00 out of every check and place a $7.00 ad in the newspaper on different products that I could negotiate resell rights to. However, nothing was working. Then finally, I found something that gave me a couple of sales. This gave me my own business account, four months later, with a whopping $100, but it was mine and no more fights over money. If I lost it I was screwed. My ad rep told me about something called a classified ad network that would cost around $100, but instead of the normal 30,000 circulation I would get multiple states and cities for close to 1,000,000 circulation. So I did it and the results were staggering. I tripled my money and later turned that into thousands. At this cross roads of life, I decided to decline the offer from the Border Patrol and take a chance with my current job and my new business venture. Needless to say, my dad was not very pleased, and, in fact, he was very disappointed. I was now trapped somewhere between proving my success to my father, my wife, and to myself, and thinking maybe this was nuts. This made it next to impossible to fail. Every night I would whisper into my daughter’s little ear as she lay there asleep, that somehow, some way, daddy would come through. This is how it all started, this is where I came from to get there, and thus began the “Millionaire Newspaper Advertising Secrets". You can't have everything... where would you put it? I plan on living forever. So far, so good. Ability is what will get you to the top if the boss has no daughter. Just remember, if the world didn't suck, we'd all fall off. Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile way and you have their shoes. I used to eat a lot of natural foods until I learned that most people die of natural causes.
