Since there are approximately 135 beads per inch, their pieces, which measure up to 33 inches in length, can have well over 4,000 beads making up their design. It takes seven steps to set each bead in its place and it can easily take upwards of three days to complete a long necklace. The core of each piece has a spiral of tautly twisted, size 30, polyester thread interlocking each bead, which insures an unparalleled strength and longevity for these potential heirlooms.

Meses means months in Spanish. JP designer Jody Olcott has created 12 unique and special designs for the Meses bracelet collection - one for each month of the year. She has sought out diverse and unique elements from around the world to fashion her truly distinctive calendar of designs.
The components that make up these pieces are rare and in short supply which makes this collection a limited edition. There will be new offerings in the future. All bracelts are 8" long, unless otherwise noted, but can be custom ordered in other sizes.



Meses Bracelet Collection-January
Jody's January design suggests quiet, dormant earth, hibernation, and the muted tones of a Winter's landscape. Made with Hilltribe silver, Artistic jasper, jade and Felspath with natural bead accents and handmade sterling silver byzantine chain. Approximately 7/8" wide.

Jody's design for February is inspired by the emerging buds of dormant tree branches with a nod of red for Valentine's Day. Made with sterling beads, leopard skin jasper, jade, antique African trade bead and handmade sterling silver byzantine chain. Approximately 7/8" wide.

Jody's inspiration for March comes from rich green moss peaking through a melting, snow-encrusted forest floor. Her design includes a Green Turquoise slab with silver plated conchos. coral , African bauxite beads and handmade sterling silver byzantine chain. Approximately 7/8" wide.

Jody's focus for her May design is the transition of the cool, wet colors of early spring into the heat of summer days and blooming flowers .Made from inlaid fossilized nautilus, coral, scarab, sterling beads, recycled glass, African trade beads and handmade sterling silver byzantine chain. Jody's design for the month of June suggests the sea-foam of warming ocean waters. Made from recycled glass beads, sterling beads, African trade beads and handmade byzantine chain. Approximately 3/4 " wide.

Jody's inspiration for July comes from the bright colors of fireworks, starry nights, and county fairs. She designed her July offering utilizing handmade Tibetan beads, coral, recycled glass beads, tiger eye, sterling beads and handmade sterling silver byzantine chain. Approximately 7/8" wide.

Jody's design for August shows an appreciation of Western art and history, featuring a replica of the Buffalo Nickel and a silver plated star bead. September is a time of reflection and appreciation. Jody's September design is inspired by Indian summer days and the changing of the seasons. Made with turquoise,sterling beads, antique hebron, coral, silver plated conchos and handmade sterling silver byzantine chain. Approximately 7/8" wide.

Jody's design for October suggests the colors of fall and the abundance of nature's harvest. Made with orange coral, etched agate, sterling beads and handmade sterling silver byzantine chain. Approximately 7/8" wide.

Jody's design for November is inspired by muted earth tones, the final days of autumn and Thanksgiving. Made with aqua terra and picture jasper beads, silver-plated concho, sterling and bauxite beads, and handmade sterling silver byzantine chain. Approximately 7/8 " wide.

Jody's December offering features a beautiful handmade Tibetan turquoise bead with engraved sterling bezel. Her December creation also includes a hand-carved carnelian barrel bead, red-creek jasper, a Hilltribe sterling silver hammered round, recycled glass beads and finished with a handmade sterling silver byzantine chain.
