Activity Packet/Task Sheets - Sports Specific or Gross Motor Skills
Do you have a child that needs to work on improving their gross motor skills and their object control skills so they can successful participate in community sports programs? Do you have a child with a disability who needs to improve overall health and wellness? Do you have a child with autism who needs appropriate activities to meet their sensory needs? Do you have a child with a physical disability who needs to improve their strength, endurance, and/or range of motion, but traditional therapy is painful and boring for them? Do you have a child with emotional or behavioral issues who you would love to participate in sports or recreational activities but you are concerned for their safety as well as the safety of others?
Are you a coach, educator, or instructor who needs additional activities, ideas, and strategies to meet the needs of individuals in your program? If you answer to any of the above questions is YES then this is for YOU! We have a variety of activity packets and skill progressions that will help your child to improve specific motor skills or their gross motor skills in general.
Here are examples of the Motor Skill Progressions and Tasks Sheets we have available:
- Catching, Throwing, Kicking, Underhand Roll, Striking (applicable for baseball, tennis, etc), and dribbling (feet or hands).
We also offer activity packets that are sport specific (e.g. soccer), but they can also be modified for any sport or activity
