ADMIRAL DEMO ALBUM #PRS218 vinyl record album 33 1/3rpm
"Now...thrill to the spectacular brilliance and dimension of music as recreated by ADMIRAL quality solid-state stereophonic high fidelity"
This is a demo or companion record album, recorded by RCA for Admiral to showcase their new Solid-state stereo system, which is pictured on the back of the jacket. This stereo had solid-state dual-channel amplifier with 360 watts of instantaneous peak power; professional push button control center, solid-state FM/AM, FM stereo multiplex tuner; exclusive new 8-speaker "isolated sound chamber" system; professional 4-speed record changer--"vari-gram" tone arm, "floating" stylus; revolutionary new Admiral SM-1 solid-state record changer cartridge; and the exclusive, all new "flight deck" control center.
The music styles featured are: calypso, theme music, discotheque, popular, ballroom, country guitar, broadway, studio orchestra, film background, hootenanny, and polka. These are done by popular singers and orchestras of the day. Because of the discotheque selection, I am guessing this record was made in the 1980's.
The vinyl is in great near mint shape. The jacket is worn, written on and has a couple of pieces of tape, but there are no broken creases and the corners are pretty good.
