Pretty and petite! A piece of brown sea glass, measuring 3/4" in length is wrapped in sterling silver wire and hangs on an 18" sterling silver Venetian box-style chain. This piece was found in the surf on Long Beach Island, NJ, and is a great example of an older piece brown glass... deep, rich brown color & well weathered from the decades spent in the sea. Not at all edible, this shark tooth shaped sliver of milk chocolate brown sea glass will turn heads and it's so affordable...a great 1st piece of sea glass jewelry for the young beach/ocean lover in your life!
Authentic sea glass is nothing more than Mother Nature perfecting a piece of man-made trash that had been discarded. My sea glass is 100% authentic. With the exception of a warm water/mild dish soap bath, and drilled holes needed to create certain types of jewelry, I do nothing to enhance the appearance of my sea glass. No extra tumbling, no oils to tone-down the frosted patina or bring out the beautiful colors of the glass.
I offer you exactly what the ocean presented to me...a naturally tumbled, well-weathered ocean gem!
