Goldenseal: Support for the Immune System
Goldenseal is often combined with echinacea to help further boost the immune system, especially during times of seasonal change. Goldenseal is a perennial North American plant found in a large portion of the United States. Called "poor man's ginseng," it has been a main staple of Native American medicine with multiple uses both internally and externally. The root, or more accurately the rhizome, of the goldenseal plant is the part most often used in medicinal applications.
Our Goldenseal Root is ecologically farm grown without the use of harmful chemicals. The root is not harvested from the wild; therefore, the endangered wild population of goldenseal is not adversely impacted.
