C1206-P MANUAL
1. Introduction:
C1206-P is one temperature controller with PID control. Its functions are as follows:
l PID control
l PWM output
l Audible alarm
l Heating or cooling
l Parameter memory
2. Indication of error status:
1.PE sensor error.
2.PrE parameter error. Enter the parameter menu and choose dFu, select 1 and restore the
parameter to default. Then reset the parameter.
3.LLA the temperature lower than the low alarm temperature(LS), and the continuous time
surpasses alarm timelag(At).
4.HHA the temperature higher than the low alarm temperature(US), and the continuous time
surpasses alarm timelag(At).
* When the above error status appears, the buzzer will give an alarm continuously and the alarm
indicator will be on.
3. 1 Panel
SET: In programming mode, the customer can select the parameter he wants to program or can
determine the programming operation.
Press SET, it will display the set temperature(sp);
Press SET continuously for 6 seconds to setup the set temperature value(sp);
â–²(UP): In programming mode to browse parameters or to add parameter value. In normal mode to
check the alarm status.
â–¼ (DOWN): In programming mode to browse parameters or to reduce parameter value.
: Examine output percentage
Combination keys:
â–²+â–¼ lock or unlock the keyboard.
SET+â–² press them simultaneously for 6 seconds to enter the mode of parameter setting.
3.2 USE OF LEDS
Each LED function is described in the following table.

3.3 How to check and modify set temperature value(SP)
1. Press SET and relax immediately, it will display set temperature value(SP);
2. Press SET for 6 seconds, it will display set temperature value and begin to flashï¼›
3. Useâ–²orâ–¼ to modify set temperature value;
4. Press SET again to save the set temperature value and return to the mode of temperature
display. If there is no key press in 10 seconds, it will return to the mode of temperature display.
3.4 How to change parameters.
1. Press the combination key SET+â–²continuously for 6 seconds to enter parameter management.

2. Use â–²orâ–¼ to select parameters you want to modifyï¼›
3. Press SET to display this parameter valueï¼›
4. Useâ–²orâ–¼ to change the parameter valueï¼›
5. Press SET to save the new parameter and return to parameter managementï¼›
6. Press End or no key press in 10 seconds, it will withdraw from the setting operation and return to
status of temperature display.
3.5 How to lock or unlock the key.
1. Press the conbination keyâ–²+â–¼ continuously for 3 seconds to lock or unlock the keyboard.
2.When the keyboard is locked, it will display OFF. When unlocked, it will display ON.
3.6 How to check alarm status.
In normal mode, pressâ–² and it will display alarm status:
nA: no alarm HHA: high temperature alarm LLA: low temperature alarm
3.7 How to check output value.
In normal mode, press and it will display output percentage.
4. Prameter table:
Us: Upper alarm limit. Range: sp~60℃ ,Default: 39.0℃.
Ls: Lower alarm limit. Range: -40℃~sp, Default: 20.0℃.
CAL: sensor compensation. Range: -10~10℃ Default: 0℃
pb: proportional band。Range:-20~20℃ Default: -3℃
* Set pb larger than 0, the controller works in cooling mode; set pb smaller than 0, the controller
work in heating mode; set pb=0, the output will be shut off.
Pid: when there is an error to the sensor, the controller will out put according to this proportion.
Range: 0~100% Default:30%
it: integration numbers per minute Range: 0-99.9 times/minute, Default: 1.8 times/minute.
* integration can remove steady state error; but too high it can cause overshoot and the
system becomes unstable. If it = 0, the integration function will be shut off.
dt: differentiation-time constant value. Range:0-999 seconds, Default: 18 seconds
* differentiation can reduce overshoot,high dt will cause that the system sensitive to small
temeprature change and the system becomes unstable. If dt=0, the differentiation will be shut
off.
Ct: output cyle Range:1-255 seconds, Default: 5 seconds
* The time needed to finish one output。For quick-reaction system, to set low output cyle is
necessary to make the system more stable.
Ar: integration area。Range: 0-100%,Default: 10%
* when this value is reduced the integration area will be reduced, in this way to reduce
overshoot. If pb>0 and the temperature difference is larger than pb*Ar, integration will not
happen; if pb
