WHY do you want to create your own product ? Is it for the money, the status of being an author, do you love to teach ? or is it all three? Why do we need to ask ourselves this question.. Because, once you can answer this question honestly, you will know YOUR driving force behind WHY you want to be a product maker.. find your burning WHY, and the HOW becomes clearer.. Creating your own products can give you all this: 1) You get to help a TON of people with their problems 2) People have a lot of respect for product creators. Think about how people view "Authors".. they respect them (most of the time) 3) You could be changing your entire life from this moment on, many people have got product creation off to a fine art and replaced their income..telling their boss where to go.. 4) This could be the start of your own product Empire.) It all starts with an idea and a few words.. The great thing is to create a digital product can cost virtually - Zero So what has been stopping you? is it the FEAR of failure?, is it you don't have any ideas?... Is it that you just don't think you can do it.. These are all natural fears, we all go through them at some stage when we start out. But seriously. if I can do it, then you can definitely do it.. Look, I really struggled with the idea of making my own products at first, in fact I thought, "what could I know that other people would possibly want to read about and buy”? Well, to be honest, the general standard of products out there in the market place isn't always too high (with some exceptions of course). If you can produce an attractive product that does what it says on the tin, you are half way there already.. If you can come up with a product that solves your customers nagging problems, and makes life easier for them... they will love you for it and buy from you, time and time again. Problems are everywhere, our job is to provide “solutions” What are you good at?.. even if you think you know “nothing”.. find out what people want, do some research, and provide the solution. Preferably, one solution to one problem.. That's what this product does, it provides the solution to the problem “How Can I Create A Product”.. Even though providing video products is part of this course, I don't have extensive training in this course on how to record videos... WHY? because ONE product – ONE solution.. keep it simple.. Let's take a look at what WE as consumers, want from a product, this way it gives us an idea of how we should present our very own product. 1. 1)We want products that will solve our problems. The more URGENT our problem, the more we WANT the product. 2. 2) We want products that makes us look good, feel good, or both 3. 3) We want products that make us feel smarter 4. 4) We also want a product that makes us appear smarter to others We also: 1) Want the product to make it as EASY as possible to learn the subject. 2) Want the product to help us to learn the subject as FAST as possible 3) We want the product to teach us the SOLUTION to just ONE Problem at a time, keep it SIMPLE.. 4) We want the product to do as it says on the tin.. if it doesn't, people will feel cheated (quite rightly so) and want a refund.. 5) We want the product to be easily accessible and in a format that we are happy to learn in. For example. Video, PDF, or audio. 6) We want the product delivered to us as simply and hassle free as possible. 7) We want great customer service, just in case we need it. Simplicity is the key.. don't make it hard for your customers to: Buy, Receive, Read or Understand your product Now before we decide on how to create the content, lets go to Step 2 to learn where to get our ideas from to base our product on..
