Carlos Martins is a known artist on the International Surrealist Movement and has partipated in several exhibitions, the last one in Chile after the earthquake. He also directed various art galleries promoting and exposing another artists. In 1984 he organized the 1st International Exhibition dedicated to Surrealism in Lisbon, Portugal in which participated more than 60 artists.
