Brandywine: The heirloom which sets the standard for superb tomato flavor. Large, juicy, beefsteak fruits commonly weigh over 1 lb. each with a reddish pink color and slightly ribbed. Indeterminate.
Planting Tips: Tender Annual. Transplanting is recommended. Start seeds 6-8 weeks before planting date. Seeds can be sown thick in one cell and then planted into individual cells after true leaves appear. Optimal soil temperature for germination is 75-85°F. Plant outdoors after all danger of all frost has passed, and night temps are above 45°F. Plant spacing is 18-24". Trellising is recommended.
