Planting Tips: Snap beans are tender annuals. Direct sow seeds after danger of frost has passed. Optimal soil temperature for germination is 70-85°F. Seeding rate: ˜8 seeds/ft; plant spacing: 2-3"; row spacing; 28-36" apart. Use inoculants when planting can increase yields but is not necessary. Air flow between plants and rows is helpful in reducing disease pressure. Beans prefer full sun. Harvest frequently for best production and remove any overgrown beans.
