Japanese Chess - or "Shogi" as it is called in Japan - offers an interesting variation on classic Western Chess.

* Any piece you capture becomes your own - you can "parachute" it onto the board.
This set comes with wooden pieces hand engraved by a craftsman whose name can be seen on one of the Kings.
The pieces are stored in a wooden box.
