This is a classic Japanese style mahjong set and comes with standard bamboo-coloured tile backs. It is made to Japanese specifications, with NO ARABIC NUMERALS!
The tiles measure 1 inch X 3/4 inch X 5/8 inch and are still in their wrappers. The set has never been used or taken out of its box prior except by me to inspect it before listing it here.
