Hello and welcome to the chance to own this piece of history. Joe Dimaggio is an icon to anyone that was a baseball fan in the 40's, especially if he lived in New York. It didn't matter if you rooted for the Giants, the Dodgers, or the Yankees. If you knew baseball you had to like Joe D. He played the game the way it was meant to be played.

The condition of the card is amazing. I have not taken it out of it's protective holder but I see no faults at all. Corners are immaculate the edges I do have 2 layers of plastic between me and the card so I can't feel and see the surface perfectly but there are no visible flaws at all and with the nature of this card i.e. foil, new, big catch, you know this one went straight into a card protector of some kind.
I have THOUSANDS of cards, possibly over a million, I'm not sure. They are not all of this quality but many are and many are worth more than this one still.
