It come with tv but never used. The Common Interface (CI) is a slot on the rear of the digital TV receiver for inserting a Conditional Access Module (CAM) so that PAY TV programmes can be viewed. You can install the CAM and card at anytime, whether the TV is on or off. To use the Common Interface use the following instructions. Insert the CAM by pushing it fully home into the CI slot, and then insert the CI CARD being careful to insert it the correct way up. Check if you can see a picture on a scrambled channel. If you are getting a scrambled signal pop-up, try to pull out the Card from the CAM and invert it before putting it back into the CAM again. You can check the status of the CI card in the Setup menu under common interface. If you are unable to watch the scrambled program and the card is authorised, please try and upgrade the TV firmware to the latest version. You can get the firmware from the Samsung support website.
