This can be torn from us or pushed down by parental disapproval or expectations that don’t match our own natural talents. For instance you may have been created as a creative person who loves to put colours and designs together, but come from a long line of successful accountants and business owners. There may be an expectation that you’ll be working in business as you become an adult. Environment can also play a part. We often learn about what we are good at through trying new things. If you lived in an area where there weren’t a lot of options, or you didn’t have a lot of money to pay for classes or for travel, then you may have not experienced the things you are naturally good at Sometimes our very ambition, mixed with false belief can get in the way. Michael was a talented and creative designer who loved to put concepts together.
