Ariel is a very special Beanie Baby with a story like no other. She is a commemorative bear to honor Ariel Glaser, who died from complications of pediatric AIDS in 1988. Ariel's mother founded the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, and all profits from the sale of this bear are donated by the manufacturer to the foundation. Ariel the bear is a soft shade of aqua with a flower-and-sun logo on her chest and a sparkly ribbon bow around her neck.
