The CPI 875 inverter is targeted to the user with moderate power requirements and can provide 800 watts of 120 volt AC power. This can be supplied nearly continuously, having a 80% duty cycle of 1 hour on/15 minutes off at maximum output. The unit is supplied with two standard three prong household outlets as well as an output for a USB device.
The chassis of the CPI 875 is constructed out of heavy die-cast alloy and provides excellent heat dissipation capabilities even though the inverter is highly efficient. The inverter also has a cooling fan built into the enclosure for additional cooling, as well as over temperature protection circuitry. Additional circuitry monitors current and voltage and can shut down the inverter when appropriate.
