DHEA is a hormone that is produced in the body by the adrenal glands. The body uses DHEA to create male and female hormones - estrogen and testosterone. The levels of DHEA in the body normally are at their highest at age 20-25 and then they start to decline with age. Lower levels of DHEA are often found in people with diseases such as diabetes, heart disease, kidney disease and many more.

DHEA is most commonly used to support anti-aging, healthy mood levels, muscle building, and overall well being. Because this supplement may affect hormone levels, we recommend that you consult with your doctor on the proper dosage before beginning supplementation with this product.
