I AM NOT GOING TO READ THE BODY OF YOUR AD.
I get 1,000’s of solo ads every day, I am simply looking for the credit link at the bottom of the page, clicking it and moving on. Most people receiving solo ad are just trying to earn credits for their own advertising campaigns; they really don’t care about your offer and are not there to spend their hard earned money.
Sorry if that seems a little harsh but that is just the nature of solo ad advertising. (I’ll bet you feel the same way.) I’m tired of people making me scroll down and down and down and down to get to the credit link, GEEZ you are giving me blisters on my fingers, I don’t have time to read a novel. I feel the same way about the Christmas tree ads; you know the ones where every third word is in different color. Or the ones that highlight every line in bright orange, thinking that will get my attention. Think about it, you don’t see professional copy writers, with years of experience and education, using these techniques.
NO… Why, because it doesn’t work.
Great copy is made, not born. It is derived from proven test results designed to do one thing and do it well: sell.
Effective advertising doesn't always use "grammatically correct" English. It uses short sentences, fragments.
It convinces you to buy, and buy now. Period.
It talks about benefits, not features. It sells on emotion and reinforces the decision to buy with logic.
It paints a compelling picture and irresistible offer that forces your prospect to act and act now! And if it doesn't, then you drop that ad like a hot potato and go with one that does.
Now you know everything you need to create a killer solo ad that pulls amazing results. All you have to do is to put it into practice.
