"I'm ready to Graduate!" (Of course He had other credits from another College He acquired before Vietnam)
The Adviser saw that He had made a 3.6 GPA and told Him that if he took only 3 more classes (9 credits) He
could graduate "WITH HONORS" at the University of Texas at Austin! 9 more credits would give Him a total of 60 credits which would be one-half of His College Graduating requirement of 120 credits. (In order to be eligible for
Graduation "WITH HONORS" you had to have one-half of your credits at that University)
He said, "9 credits! That would bore me to death! I just took 18 credits in the FALL, 21 in the SPRING, 6 in SUMMER I and 6 in SUMMER 2! Three classes would drive me nuts - how many do I need to receive another Degree?"
She said that if He stayed in the College of Communication (SPEECH COMMUNICATION, RADIO-TV-FILM, ADVERTISING or JOURNALISM) she could transfer 6 more credits from SAN DIEGO STATE - His previous College -
and He would only have to take 24 more! That's 8 more classes in one semester!
24 credits means you are in class 24 hours a week - but Don would have to take three 2 hour labs every week too!
That's 30 hours of College classes at a MAJOR University!
