It is July, 2000. Richard Dutcher, who founded LDS Cinema with the success of his film "God's Army" is missing and presumed dead. Who will take his place? Peter Beuhmann (Nathan Smith Jones), an egotistical local filmmaker, is determined to make hie own feature film to be crowned the next "Mormon Spielberg."
But he has competition. Judy (Jen Hoskins)is a filmmaker/house wife whose biblical epics are distinguished only for their bad choreography. Devin (Eric Artell) struggles with maternal disapproval, financing woes and the fact that his films are just 10 seconds long. Dan Merkley (Baptists At Our Barbecue) Christopher R. Miller (The R.M.) and Kirby Heyborne round out the cast as members of Peter's congregation. With run-away egos, quirky characters and animated eggs battling Book of Mormon style, there's a laugh for everyone in the fuuniest movie ever made about LDS cinema.
