Day 1: Arrival to Cairo
Welcome to Egypt, let’s get started on your wonderful holiday! When you arrive at Cairo International Airport, your tour manager will greet and assist you throughout this process. You will then be escorted to your hotel by an exclusive air-conditioned coach. At the hotel, your tour guide will make sure you are checked in smoothly and review your itinerary with you and leave you for your overnight stay. Overnight: Cairo
Day 2: Tour of the Pyramids of Giza & Saqqara
After Breakfast at your hotel in Cairo, you will meet your tour guide and depart to visit the incredible pyramids and huge Sphinx at Giza Plateau. Khufu (Cheops) – the largest pyramid was constructed from no less than 2.5 million quarried limestone blocks, weighing around 6 million tons. No mean feat, when you consider the pyramids were built without the use of modern equipment! You will then move on to visit the great Pyramids of Chefren and Mykerinus and of course the Famous Sphinx. Maybe opt for a camel ride. Traveling on to the necropolis of Saqqara, innumerable sand strewn temples and tombs await discovery. It’s at Saqqara where you’ll see Djoser’s Step Pyramid. Rising 6 steps, it served as the prototype for ancient Egypt’s most enduring architectural legacy. Return to the hotel for an overnight in Cairo.Breakfast.
Day 3: Departure from Cairo
After breakfast at your hotel, you will proceed to checkout of your hotel and be accompanied by your tour guide to Cairo International Airport for Departure. Breakfast.
