There's more ways of using this technology. I'll show you in a minute.
But here's another technology which is increasingly being used to add to information to a web page - "tool tips" or "info boxes". This uses the mouse-over effect to pop up a little information window, right next to the object being "moused over". Here's a typical use. Put your mouse cursor over this

This is a very simple example. This technology is capable of many more uses, and I'll show you some of them lower down this page.
But you need to know that both of these techniques use some very complex web scripts - not just one script but several. And they can be very complex to program to get the right effects.

That thinking also applies to my WebLinker Pro software. Can you carry out the following tasks? Tick the boxes if you can:
Follow simple instructions

"Both the components?" Yes - there are in fact two pieces of software:
* Component #1: the main WebLinker Pro software. This produces the "unblockable popups" and the greyed-out screen effect that you've seen
* Component #2: "WebLinker InfoBoxes". This generates the mouse-over "tool tips" or "info boxes" that you've also seen.
Some Benefits I Haven't Yet Mentioned
* No scripts to install! For each of the two components you get a small piece of software which you put on your Windows PC (sorry, Mac users, this won't work for you unless you have a PC emulator). You don't even have to "install" the software. Just open it and run it. WebLinker InfoBoxes involves a short registration process, but the main WebLinkerPro software (Component #1) doesn't.
* Cross-browser compatibility. All the effects of both components have been tested on Internet Explorer v.6 and v.7, Firefox v.3.x and Opera (that covers 90% - 95% of all web users). Component 1 effects work on Google's "Chrome" browser, but Component 2 (InfoBoxes) effects don't (nothing new there - "Chrome" fails to deliver on a number of applications). Note: beware of some poor alternatives to WebLinker InfoBoxes. They don't always work in Firefox. Sometimes, yes, but not always. Don't take chances!
* Flexibility: Most people will be happy to work with the software "out of the box". But if you want to tweak a few files to fine-tune the effects even more, that's fine. I provide you with all the info you'll need. Otherwise, just stick to the setup I've provided.
* Effortless Updates: I'll be always alert to any feedback and improvement suggestions. And if any changes are needed to the WebLinker Pro package, these will automatically be incorporated into the software programs. Just open up either program, and the changes will be there!
IMPORTANT
The software you have is part of a bigger package. Included in the full package is:
1. A rebrander. You can rebrand the same software that you currently have and sell or give it away. It’s a powerful viral marketing tool!
