This is a miniature steam locomotive like the Polar Express, the old time train that burned wood and coal and spewed great amounts of smoke as it went along. A few of these still give rides. This one is a small trinket box or pill caddie, that measures 4 1/2" x 2". It has a metal framework that has been hand-painted with a special enamel and then fired to a glass-like finish, and then adorned with Austrian crystals.
It comes safe and secure in it's own padded gift box, ready for someone special.
