People would do it if they absolutely love your newsletter. Plus, you should
really want your newsletter subscribers to not miss out on such great

owner (i.e. s/he promoting your newsletter to his/her list and you doing the
same in return.) Thus both of you benefit by getting more subscribers in the
process.
Last, but not least, you are giving him/her something in return: Cold hard
cash! In other words, Money! This concept is very much similar to solo
mailing or e-zine advertising… but with a twist!
You can pay the person either monetarily or through barter arrangement for
building your list. One way to do this is to pay other list owners 'per each
subscriber' they send your way by setting up a pay-per-subscriber affiliate
program or entering into a deal with them to send out their advertisement or
solo-mailing to your list if they send ‘X’ number of subscribers to your list or
you give them a product or service for free for building your list.
You have to decide what you want to do; the last two ideas are the most
frequently used ways of rewarding other list owners.
The key aspect of this system is the need to track how many subscriber list
owners have sent to your list to be eligible for the reward, monetary or
otherwise. In the following pages, I will tell you how to do this using two free
