This album by Roy Acuff is filled with old country gospel favorites. Half of these songs are still sung in my church in Michigan. There is a short history of Roy and his Smokey Mountain Boys and their tours and time with the Grand Ole Opry.
The songs include:
HOW BEAUTIFUL HEAVEN MUST BE
JESUS DIED FOR ME
SHAKE MY MOTHER'S HAND
TAKE MY HAND PRECIOUS LORD
WHERE THE SOUL NEVER DIES
THANK GOD
i CAN'T FEEL AT HOME IN THIS WORLD
LEGEND OF THE DOGWOOD TREE
WHERE COULD I GO BUT TO THE LORD
BUILD ME A CABIN IN THE CORNER OF GLORY LAND
There are many light scratches on the vinyl but it plays trhough without much intruding sounds. The cover is worn at the corners but still has it's original plastic wrap. The corners have a little wear and the bottom is torn about one inch.
