I have received Gold Stars for some of my articles I have published.
It was so hard. When everything was ripped away from me. What were normal day activities like sewing and selling at the markets. Riding and enjoying out door activities etc. Had to be put on hold while I concentrated on recovering.
My way of dealing with the situation was taking notes and photo's. Releasing the pressure of all the destruction from my mind onto paper and recording it.

We have had over 10,000 aftershocks, I lost friends and customers.

Article 1. Diary of illusions:
This is a collection of writings I did in hospital. When I underwent major surgery. I had horrific illusions where I lost a day and a half. So I am slowly going through them and recording the events.

These are my thought about 2010, what a horrible year. As you can see in the photo, I still try to keep a smile on my face. Pike mine, earthquake, stoma, couldn't be worse. But still smiling. 2011. Wishes and tasks I want to achieve. New Year dreams.what I really need the .
Article 3. Family is precious.
I am sitting and reflecting on my family. Yes we all survived. Yes we struggle. Love is what get's us through.
This was my way of dealing with the horror. Writing and recording, keeping a record of the different stages I have gone through.
Re establishing my business. . Relocating my home.
Seeing what will rise from the ashes. A new town in development.
This is history getting demolished daily 100's of buildings getting teared down.
