Wallace D Wattles was born shortly
after the American Civil War. It is
said that he lived a life
characterized by failure, until he
originated and applied the
principles he outlined in The Science
of Getting Rich.
Sadly, he died not long after the
publication of the book and his
work was almost forgotten. Many
people who have subsequently
discovered his little book and
worked at applying his principles
however, have indeed become rich.
