Acne is a skin condition that causes pimples, blackheads, whiteheads

First, acne is basically a disorder triggered by overactive sebaceous
glands that discharge sebum, or oily substances, onto the surface of
the skin. People affected with acne have sebaceous glands that are
particularly sensitive to a hormone called testosterone, which causes
the release of too much sebum, which is what causes acne.
