This old set of six Sterling Silver and Enamel Spoons are stamped ELA Denmark Sterling 925.5. They are beautifully done in great colors of guilloche enamel and a gold wash. The guilloche enamel is perfect with no chips or cracks. Their are six fantastic colors- Cobalt blue, Red, Green, Yellow, White and Aquamarine blue. They have enamel on the bowl of the spoon and on the front side of the handle, they are demitasse spoons and slightly more petite in size than a normal teaspoon. The backs of the spoons are gold wash and marked, which I tried capturing in the photo. I have not polished them since I purchased them years ago, but they would be even brighter with a quick polish.
They come in a blue box with a small brass-type latch. The box has natural ware & tare from its ages of being handled, but it's not very noticeable, also the yellow spoon has some discoloration on its handle; two spirals are white instead of yellow from chipping. I tried to capture both issues in the photos. I just mention it for accuracy. These spoons are old, and the complete set of six in this great condition are a find. Thank you for looking.
