Hanafuda is a famous Japanese card game, also known in the West as "flower cards" because of the beautiful seasonal flower designs that make up the 12 sets of the deck.
The set is nicely packaged and comes complete with a rules manual.
The cards are standard Japanese "hanafuda" size, i.e. smaller and stiffer than standard Western decks. They have green backs and edges. Each card has a Disney character on it.
The blurb on the back of the box says, "This is a truly original product which depicts Disney Vision coupled with Disney Characters."
